Gamecocks Ranked Seventh To Open Season

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina equestrian will start the year ranked No. 7 in the NCEA Preseason Coaches Poll, it was announced today.
The Gamecocks are one of four SEC schools starting the year in the top 10.
Carolina once again is set to embark on one of the toughest schedules in the country this year according to the poll, as four of the team’s first five opponents enter the year ranked in the top four.
The Gamecocks open the year at No. 1 Texas A&M on Sept. 29.
