Men's Tennis To Reschedule Home Match Versus Presbyterian
COLUMBIA, S.C.- South Carolina men’s tennis has postponed its home match versus Presbyterian that was originally scheduled for Sunday morning at the Carolina Tennis Center. Gamecocks head coach Josh Goffi announced that the match will be rescheduled to a later date due to heavy rainfall and cold temperatures being forecasted in the Columbia area.
The Gamecocks opened the spring season by sweeping their season-opening doubleheader against The Citadel on Friday at the Carolina Tennis Center.
South Carolina will prepare to depart for Melbourne, Australia next week where they will compete in the first collegiate tennis match to be hosted at a professional Grand Slam. The Gamecocks will train on location at the 2019 Australian Open before taking on fifth-ranked Southern Cal on Tues., Jan. 22nd, at 12 a.m. ET.
