Baseball Starts Homestand Tuesday Night Against North Carolina A&T
The Gamecocks and Aggies square off with first pitch set for 7 p.m.
COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina baseball team opens a four-game homestand this Tuesday (March 26) as the Gamecocks host North Carolina A&T. First pitch is at 7 p.m. at Founders Park. The game will be streamed on SEC Network +. All games will be broadcast on The Game 107.5 FM and the Gamecock Sports Network with Derek Scott and Tommy Moody on the call. Carolina took 1-of-3 games from Tennessee this past weekend in Knoxville. Carolina won Saturday’s game 3-2 as Chris Cullen and Jordan Holladay had RBI doubles in the seventh and Brett Kerry struck out five in two innings of relief to pick up the third save.
PARKING INFORMATION
> For the third straight season, shuttle parking for the University of South Carolina baseball season will be operational at the Key Road Gravel Lot (1105 Key Road) and in Lot B of the Colonial Life Arena parking lot. Shuttles will begin running two hours prior to game time.
We strongly recommend that fans use the baseball shuttle from Key Road to Founders Park over the CLA shuttle for the convenience, spacious parking (650 spaces) and less congestion than at the arena. Please remember that at the arena, shuttle parking will be limited to 50 spaces because of the student demand for parking in this area. There is a high student demand Monday through Thursday that lasts until 7 p.m. because of classes. Lots A and B are also reserved for men’s and women’s basketball parking on Feb. 19, 26, March 3 and March 9.
For GPS purposes, the address for the Key Road Gravel Lot is 1105 Key Road, Columbia, SC 29201.

INJURY BUG BITES GAMECOCKS
South Carolina, already down six pitchers on its 35-man roster, took another blow on Friday at Tennessee when Andrew Eyster left the game with an injury. Carolina moved Jacob Olson to right field, put Quinntin Perez at third base and Nick Neville at second base in the final two games of the series. Noah Campbell can hit, as he has been the designated hitter for the last four games, but has not played in the field since the SEC opener against Georgia.
SEC LEADERS
At the plate, Jacob Olson is tied for the SEC lead with nine home runs. Hopkins leads the league in total bases (69), is third in home runs (8), tied for the lead in triples (3) and is fourth in slugging percentage (.690). Olson is second in slugging percentage (.702) and second in total bases (66). Luke Berryhill is tied for fourth in doubles (10), ninth in slugging percentage (.624) and tied for sixth in RBI (27). On the mound, Reid Morgan is third with 38.2 innings pitched and Cam Tringali is tied for the lead with 13 appearances. As a team, SC is 14th in batting average, 12th in ERA and 11th in fielding percentage.
