Davies on to Qualifying Draw at ITA All-American

TULSA, Okla. – South Carolina junior Megan Davies swept her Pre-Qualifying matches, advancing to the Qualifying Draw at the ITA Women’s All-American Championships hosted by the University of Tulsa.
 
Playing just one match on Sunday at the Case Tennis Center LaFortune Park, No. 125-ranked and No. 13-seeded Davies cruised through her first set, 6-1, against Iowa’s No. 111 Elise van Heuvelen Treadwell. The two went back-and-forth in the second set with Davies coming out on top opposite the No. 5 seed in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7).
 
Next, Davies will participate in the Qualifying draw, taking place on Monday and Tuesday.
