Horvit Invited to USTA Winter Wild Card Playoff

ORLANDO, Fla. – South Carolina women’s tennis senior Mia Horvit has been selected to compete at the second-annual Winter Wild Card Playoff hosted at the USTA National Campus from Dec. 17-21 in Orlando, Fla.
 
No. 27-ranked Horvit will be joined by seven other women’s competitors as well as eight men, all fighting for a total of nine wild cards into 2020 USTA Pro Circuit tournaments. The winners from the men’s and women’s fields earn two 25K main draw wild cards, while the finalists gets one 25K main draw wild card. The third-place finishers will leave with a wild card into the main draw of a 15K.
 
Joining Horvit in the women’s field are: No. 25 Chloe Beck (Duke), No. T4 Sara Daavetilla (North Carolina), No. 6 Abigail Forbes (UCLA), No. 8 Alexa Graham (North Carolina), No. 23 Adriana Reami (N.C. State), No. 32 Christina Rosca (Vanderbilt) and No. 30 Natasha Subhash (Virginia).
