Gamecock Athletics to Host Virtual 5K Race
Free Virtual Event Set for June 12-14
The University of South Carolina Athletics department is excited to debut the Gamecock Virtual 5K presented by Planet Fitness during the weekend of June 12-14, 2020.
The virtual race, which is free to all participants, allows fans to safely take on a 5K together as Gamecocks. Runners and walkers can cover the 5K distance on your own, with your family in your neighborhood, or on a path determined by you.
Prizes will be awarded for each age group along with other miscellaneous prize categories.
Don’t forget to wear your Gamecock gear and post your racing photo on social media using #Gamecock5K.
