Wall Victorious at Orlando International Amateur

Sophomore came back from three shots down for second amateur win of 2020

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — Sophomore Jack Wall won the Orlando International Amateur on Wednesday. He trailed by three shots heading into the final round and shot 67 (-4) to win by three, posting a 54-hole total of 199 (-15).
 
The Brielle, N.J., native, opened with a 65 (-7) at the Crooked Cat (par-72) portion of Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge on Monday. His final two rounds were played at the Panther Lake course (par-71) where he shot a pair of 67s.  
 
Wall made 16 birdies over the course of 54 holes and just one bogey.
 
It marks his second amateur win this calendar year. Wall won the 118th Met Amateur at Bethpage Black back in August.
 
Freshman Liam Shinn also finished in the top-10 this week at the Orlando International Amateur. He T-9th at 7-under with a score of 207.
