QUOTABLES
Head Coach Tony Annan on …
his thoughts after the match against Charlotte:
“I don’t think we played particularly poorly. I think we still created a lot of chances. We created chances when we were down 2-0 and even before that point. We didn’t take our chances early. They did take their chances early. We failed to take our chances again in the second half.”

… if he’s optimistic based on the amount of chances his team created:
“Yeah, I’m very optimistic about the future. I don’t think we’re playing poorly. I don’t think we’re a bad team. We’re just having a tough time converting possession into goals and turning chances into goals.”

… what improvements they can make going forward:
“I think we’re improving every time we play. The improvement is top to bottom. The attitude is improving. The guts and grind to win is a good sign. It’s still a process. We’re all working as hard we can.”
