Food Truck Rodeo Coming to Gamecock Village

Columbia, SC – On Saturday, September 3, Gamecock Athletics will host a Food Truck Rodeo as part of football’s home opener activations in Gamecock Village. The Food Truck Rodeo, along with Gamecock Village, will open at 3:00 p.m., prior to the 7:30 p.m. kick-off vs. Georgia State.

The Food Truck Rodeo will feature South Carolina Athletics’ partner Pelican’s SnoBalls as well as Carolina Cookin’, Chanco’s Tacos, Home Team BBQ, The Arepa Chef, The Wurst Wagen and Truly Scrumptious Creamery.

Gamecock Village is free and open to all fans and is located along Bluff Road inside Gamecock Park. In addition to the Food Truck Rodeo, Gamecock Village will feature live music from the Reggie Sullivan Band, various Gamecock Athletics partners, inflatables for young Gamecock fans, Gamecock Walk (the team walk into the stadium) and a pep rally with the Carolina Band, Carolina Girls and Gamecock Cheerleaders.
