No. 4 Women's Soccer Set to Take On Clemson
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The fourth-ranked Gamecocks women’s soccer program will face in-state rivals the Clemson Tigers inside Stone Stadium Thursday, September 1, at 7 p.m.

South Carolina heads into Thursday’s match 3-0-1, after a successful trip to New England defeating UConn 3-0 and Vermont 2-0. The two victories have kept the Gamecocks undefeated so far in the 2022 regular season, in addition to all four games being shut outs. Senior Cam Dixon recorded her first goal since freshman year in her game against the Catamounts, and 5th year Sam Chang tallied a goal in both matches. Chang stands at being one goal away from tying her career season high (3).
The Tigers (2-1-1) most recently fell to fellow SEC member Alabama 0-3 on Sunday, putting up 10 shots throughout the game compared to the Tide’s 20. Junior goalkeeper Halle Mackiewicz recorded four saves on the night.
South Carolina and Clemson will take each other on for the 29th time in program history, with Clemson leading the series 16-11-1.

For fans attending Thursday’s game, student entry can be made through the Whaley Street gates. All others (media, season ticket holders, walk-ups) can enter through the Heyward Street gate. Parking is free within the Athletic Village Garage.
