Last Time Out

The Gamecocks had an explosive outing at No. 18 Tennessee on Sunday, taking down the Vols 6-1 in the first win over a ranked team since defeating No. 10 North Carolina in 2021. The 6-1 win also marked the largest margin of victory over a ranked team in program history. The Gamecocks’ six goals were the most since defeating Jacksonville 6-0 on Aug 28, 2019, and the win also snapped Tennessee’s five game shutout streak.

Two Gamecocks scored two goals during the game (Shae O’Rourke and Corinna Zullo), the first time since 2015. South Carolina saw the remaining goals from Claire Griffiths and Payton Patrick. The first three goals occurred within five minutes, the fastest this season.

Scouting the Tigers

Thursday’s meeting with Missouri will be the 12th in program history. South Carolina currently leads the series 8-3-0, having won the last eight consecutive games against the Tigers.

Missouri most recently ended its contest at Texas A&M University in a 1-1 draw Sunday, Oct. 23. The Aggies struck first, scoring in the 8th minute off a rebound from redshirt freshman Bella Hollenbach’s initial save. In the second half, the Tigers began to shift the moment and pressure the Texas A&M defense more, resulting in them earning two corner kicks. In the 68th minute of play, senior Jadyn Easley tied the game off a pass from junior Jenna Bartels.

Gate & Parking Information
