Hannah Darling fired a 2-under 70 and made just one bogey in 18 holes in more windy conditions

NEW PROVIDENCE, Bahamas – No. 4 South Carolina bounced back with a round of 292 (+4) on Tuesday at the Nexus Collegiate. The Gamecocks sit sixth and are 10 shots back of the top-three entering Wednesday’s final round.

All-American Hannah Darling led the way with an impressive 2-under 70. She made four birdies and just one bogey. Darling had circles on her scorecard on three consecutive holes in a stretch on the back nine. She’s T-11th at 4-over for the tournament, climbing 21 spots on the leaderboard today.

Fellow All-American Louise Rydqvist shot 73 (+1) with a pair of birdies. She was bogey free on the back nine making all pars. Graduate transfer Katherine Muzi was solid again with a 2-over 74. Muzi is just inside the top-20, T-19th at 6-over. Senior Mathilde Claisse was the final counting score with a 75 (+3). She led the Gamecocks with six birdies in round two.

Freshman Mia Sandtorv Lussand shot 77 (+5) and so did senior Justine Fournand, who is playing as an individual this week.

Carolina will be paired with No. 11 Ole Miss, No. 20 Oklahoma State and Minnesota for the final round on Wednesday. It’s a shotgun start for the field at 7:45 a.m. (ET) and Carolina will tee off on holes six through 10.
