Gamecocks Withdraw from Ted Nelson Invite

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Jan. 22, 2025) – South Carolina Track & Field has officially withdrawn from the upcoming Ted Nelson Invite in College Station, Texas.

The Gamecocks were set to travel tonight and tomorrow but withdrew due to the uncertainty of travel conditions. College Station will be the site of the 2025 SEC Indoor Championship on Feb. 27 – March 1.

South Carolina will now turn its attention to a pair of home meets on Friday, Jan. 31 (Carolina Challenge) and Saturday, Feb. 1 (Gamecock Challenge).
