COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (10-9, 0-6 SEC) is back on the road in the mid-week with a trip to Georgia (14-6, 2-5 SEC) on tap. Tip is set for 7 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday night from Stegeman Coliseum as the Gamecocks seek their first SEC win.
Rich Hollenberg (pxp) and Daymeon Fishback (analyst) will be on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.
Carolina has lost four of its seven SEC games (three vs. top-15 opponents) by a combined 12 points.
The Gamecocks have history on their side Tuesday night, having won 14 of the last 16 matchups with the Bulldogs dating back to Jan. 4, 2017. The teams have split that last two seasons since Lamont Paris and Mike White’s arrivals. Each team won on its home floor in 2023 and each team won on the road last season.
Carolina won 12-straight in the series from 2017-22, the longest win streak by either side in the 124-game history between the two SEC rivals.
