
South Carolina Pro Day Set for Tuesday, March 18
The South Carolina football program will hold its annual NFL Pro Day on Tuesday, March 18, when 25 former Gamecock players are slated to work out for NFL coaches and scouts.
Those former Gamecock players expected to participate include Kamaar Bell, Davis Beville, Dalevon Campbell, Terrell Dawkins, Gilber Edmond, Nick Emmanwori, O’Donnell Fortune, Tonka Hemingway, Alex Herrera, Alex Huntley, DeAndre Jules, Kyle Kennard, Demetrius Knight Jr., Kai Kroeger, Gage Larvadain, Vershon Lee, Bam Martin-Scott, Juju McDowell, Hunter Rogers, Raheim “Rocket” Sanders, T.J. Sanders, Joshua Simon, Torricelli Simpkins III, David Spaulding and Debo Williams.
A school-record 11 Gamecocks were invited to the NFL Combine, which took place in Indianapolis over the past several days.
South Carolina’s Pro Day will begin in the Long Family Football Operations facility weight room at 8 am and conducted in the following order: Height/Weight, Wingspan, Arm, Hand, Vertical Jump and Bench Press.
The testing will then continue in the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility at approximately 9 am with the Broad Jump, 40-yard dash, Short Shuttle, and 3-Cone drill.
Following the testing, individual position drills will be conducted on the field.
The event is closed to the general public.
