After The Citadel plated a run in the third, Carolina bounced right back with two in the fourth as Henry Kaczmar’s triple scored Beau Hollins and Nathan Hall’s RBI single brought in Kaczmar.

The Gamecocks put up a three-spot in the eighth on a Kaczmar RBI groundout and run-scoring doubles from Stone and Petry. Carolina ended the scoring on a Jordan Carrion RBI groundout in the ninth.
