Gamecocks Ranked No. 17 in Final CSCAA Poll

COLUMBIA, S.C.The South Carolina women’s swimming & diving team secured the No. 17 spot in the final CSCAA Top 25 poll for the 2024-25 season, as announced in the March edition of the rankings.

The Gamecocks consistently held a place in the top 25 throughout all six months of polling. They began the season in October ranked No. 17 after a split weekend, falling to Georgia 133-167 while delivering a dominant 249-45 win over Vanderbilt.

In November, South Carolina checked in at No. 20 following victories over then-No. 16 Duke and Queens. The team was ranked No. 22 in December before jumping four spots to No. 18 in January after defeating Virginia Tech 175-125 and securing a narrow 152.5-147.5 upset over then-No. 19 Auburn. After closing out the regular season with a commanding 211.5-86.5 win over Georgia Tech, the Gamecocks landed at No. 18 in February.

A historic fifth-place finish at the 2025 SEC Championships propelled South Carolina back to No. 17, tying their highest ranking of the season.

South Carolina women kick off post season with a trip to the west coast, sending 11 Gamecocks to the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington from March 19 to 22.
