No. 7 Gamecocks to Host Senior Day

COLUMBIA, SC – No. 7 Gamecock Equestrian (5-5) will round out the regular season at home, taking on No. 10 UT Martin (6-5) at 11:00 a.m. The Gamecocks will recognize its nine seniors, Ellie Beard, Bri Carter, Tierney Horton, Sophie Mitchell, Mya Pinski, Payton Potter, Ava Pratt, Haley Turner, and Chloe VanStone.

LAST TIME OUT 

South Carolina had a strong outing to California, defeating UC Davis and No. 6 Fresno State in a two-day stretch of meets. The Gamecocks picked up four MOPs along the way, with Natalie Jayne picking up one against each opponent, followed by Carly Jenkins (Horsemanship vs. UC Davis) and Amira Kettaneh (Flat vs. Fresno State).

SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS

Saturday’s meet will be the 11th in program history, with the Gamecocks leading the series 10-0. The pair last faced off in Septemeber of 2023, where South Carolina earned a 14-4 win.

The Skyhawks head into the meet coming off an 11-6 loss against then-ranked No. 4 SMU.
