In her three years with the Gamecocks, Blankenship has spent 25 hours volunteering around the city of Columbia, spending a majority of that time with youth centered organizations. Brooke has been involved in the team’s pen pal program with Carolina Spring Elementary and spent a school day with her pen pal to provide further friendship and mentorship to her pal. She has spread her love of sport by working  with the Miracle League Baseball Game, helping children with mental and physical disabilities experience the joy of baseball. She has worked Cocky’s All Sports Camp on MLK day each of the last two years.
