Baseball Announces 2026 SEC Schedule
BIRMINGHAM – The Southeastern Conference announced its 30-game baseball schedule for the 2026 season this afternoon (Tuesday, Sept. 9).
The Gamecocks will open the SEC slate with a three-game series at Florida on March 13-15. USC then hosts Arkansas for a three-game set on March 20-22. The Garnet and Black travels to Georgia on March 27-29 and then hosts Texas for the first time as an SEC foe on April 2-4, which is a Thursday-Saturday series due to Easter.
Carolina visits Missouri on April 10-12 and hosts Mississippi State on April 17-19. The Gamecocks will play back-to-back home SEC series as Kentucky comes into town on April 24-26.
The Gamecocks are at LSU on May 1-3 and closes out its home SEC slate on May 8-10 against Alabama. Carolina ends the 2026 regular season at Vanderbilt on May 14-16.
The SEC Tournament will take place May 19-24 at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Ala. All 16 teams will play in the single-elimination event.
More SEC weekends could move to Thursday-Saturday due to TV. Those changes will be announced at a later date.
The non-conference portion of the schedule as well as game time and television designations also will be announced at a later date.
The Gamecocks will play two fall games against outside competition, at home against Charlotte (Nov. 2) and at College of Charleston (Nov. 6).
