ATLANTA – No. 2/2 South Carolina shot 50.0 percent from the field in a 91-82 win over No. 11/11 North Carolina in an exhibition game as part of the Bad Boy Mowers Series Thursday night.

After tying things at 16 apiece, South Carolina finished the first quarter on a 10-3 run to put them up seven after the first 10 minutes, remaining on top for the rest of the game.

South Carolina dominated the paint, outscoring North Carolina by 20, 54-34.

Newcomer Ta’Niya Latson tied for a team high 19 points, finishing 7-for-12 from the floor and going a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line, in addition to a block and a steal.
