Gamecocks Return to Lowcountry for Hootie at Bulls Bay

AWENDAW, S.C. – South Carolina is in The Lowcountry as it co-host the 2026 Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 22-24) alongside College of Charleston. First round action gets underway Sunday morning at Bulls Bay Golf Club for the annual 54-hole, stroke play event.

This year marks the 20^th anniversary of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. The Gamecocks have five team titles all-time at the event, last winning it in 2022.

The lineup for South Carolina remains the same this week with redshirt senior Frankie Harris, senior Zach Adams, freshman Talan Harrison, sophomore Marek Fleming and junior Brock Blais. Junior Bo Carpenter, sophomore Emil Elkjær Petersen and freshman August Petersson will play as individuals.

Carolina, Clemson, Kansas and Purdue are the four teams ranked in the top-50 of the latest Clippd Top-25 competing this week in the 15-team field.

Blais will be the first player off for the Gamecocks at 9 a.m. (ET) on hole 10. Carolina is paired with College of Charleston and Purdue the opening 18 holes at Bulls Bay. Live scoring will be available all week via Clippd here.
