COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sophomore All-American Eila Galitksy will make her fourth Augusta National Women’s Amateur appearance next week. First round action gets underway at Champions Retreat on Wednesday, April 1.
The international field of 72 women’s amateur players will play 36 holes at Champions Retreat. A cut will take place after the first two rounds with the top-30 players (including ties) advancing to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday, April 4.
Golf Channel will have live coverage of the first two rounds from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday and Thursday. Final round coverage on Saturday will air from noon to 3 p.m. (ET) on NBC.
Galitsky finished T-8th in 2024 and T-4th in 2025 at the ANWA. She fired a field-best 66 (-6) in the final round last year at Augusta National that jolted her up into the top-five. It tied the lowest final round score in what was the sixth edition of the prestigious event. Her 54-hole total of 208 (-8) last season was the lowest by a Gamecock all-time at the ANWA. Galitsky joined former All-American Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (T-3rd in 2021 with 2-over total of 218) as the only South Carolina players to record a top-five finish in the event.
The Chiang Mai, Thailand native currently sits No. 8 in the latest World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Since its start in 2019, head coach Kalen Anderson has had eight different players make a total of 13 ANWA appearances.
