No. 23 Gamecocks Set for First SEC Road Trip
STARKVILLE, Miss. – The 23rd ranked South Carolina softball team travels to No. 12 Mississippi State for its first SEC road trip of the season March 28-30. The Gamecocks begin a road trip that will see them play six games in eight days. The final two games of the series will be broadcast on SEC Network.

- Based on current opponent winning percentage, the Gamecocks have the toughest schedule in the nation. Opponents have a combined winning percentage of .694.
- Carolina opened SEC play with the defending National Champion for the second straight season. They opened 2025 at Oklahoma.
- Based on NCAA research, the Gamecocks are the only team in the nation with seven pitchers who have earned a win on the season. All seven Carolina pitchers on staff have earned at least one victory.
- The walk-off win in the 12th inning against LSU was South Carolina’s longest game since a 6-4, 12-inning win at Clemson two years to the day, March. 20, 2024.
- Friday’s 12-inning game was the longest game in Carolina Softball Stadium history.
- South Carolina is 9-16 all-time in their Monday SEC Series dating back to 2015.
- This is the second time the Gamecocks have been on the road for their Monday Series (2022 at Auburn) and is their 10th overall Monday Series.

- Tate Davis had a walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th of Sunday’s game vs BC.
- Carolina had three straight walk-off wins for the first time since February 21-22, 2025.
- Against the Eagles on Mar. 13 Carolina hit four home runs for the first time since also hitting four against then-No. 2 Oklahoma last season on March 9.
