No. 18 Gamecocks Welcome Stetson for Senior Day Doubleheader
COLUMBIA, S.C. – No. 18 South Carolina beach volleyball team returns home for Senior Day on Saturday vs. No. 14 Stetson. The two programs will play two matches at 9 a.m. and noon.
The Gamecocks will honor seven seniors, including VB Trost, Sadie Nelson, Jolie Cranford, Morgan Downs, Peyton Yamagata, Juju Quintero and Rachel Hartmann. The ceremony will take place at the conclusion of the second match.
Wheeler Beach will feature various food and beverage options for attendees, featuring Simply Blended Brew (9 a.m. – End of Day) and Steel’s Kitchen (11:30 a.m. – End of Day)
This spring, attendance at home matches at Wheeler Beach is again free and open to the general public. Please continue to follow the athletics department’s clear bag policy. Fan entrance is only permitted on the north side of the facility through the main gate, and only participating teams and game-day personnel are permitted on the sand surface. Pit parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans are also encouraged to use metered lots around the facility.
LAST TIME OUT
South Carolina traveled to Arizona to compete in the Wildcat Spring Challenge, where they went 3-1, picking up wins against Colorado Mesa, then-ranked No. 14 Hawaii and Florida Gulf Coast.

All-Time Series Record: Stetson leads 5-11 overall.
Last Meeting: The two programs met during the opening weekend of the 2026 season at the Dolphin Duals in Jacksonville, Fla. Stetson claimed the match 4-1.
Series Note: This marks the second meeting between the two teams this season. However, they will meet once again next weekend at the Deland Cup. The last time South Carolina played the same team four times in a season was in 2017, when it played Florida State four times.
