It’s the Gamecocks first SEC sweep since winning three games against Vanderbilt in March of 2024 and first road SEC sweep since winning three at Georgia in March of 2023. Carolina also picked up its first shutout win in SEC play since a 10-0, 7-inning win over Kentucky in 2024.

Dawson Harman, who missed three weeks due to illness, came back in a big win in Saturday’s 6-4 win over Missouri. Harman brought in a pair of runs in the second with a single. He then homered in the fourth and sixth innings. Harman drove in four runs with his 3-for-4 day and now has nine RBI on the year.

Brandon Stone was outstanding on the mound in Thursday’s win over Missouri. The righty went six innings and allowed just two hits and a run with one walk and seven strikeouts in the 5-1 win. Stone lowered his ERA to 2.89 on the year and now has 43 strikeouts in 43.2 innings pitched.
