Balue and Hartmann Earn Big 12 Pair of the Week

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Junior Brooke Balue and fifth-year Rachel Hartmann were named Big 12 Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

The duo holds a 20-8 overall record this season, including a 12-7 mark from the top position and an 8-1 record at the No. 2 spot. They closed out the regular season, extending their win streak to seven matches after a 4-0 performance last weekend. Balue and Hartmann have also delivered the clinching point for the Gamecocks seven times this year.

South Carolina travels to Tucson, Ariz., for the Big 12 Beach Volleyball Tournament, presented by Allstate, beginning Thursday.
