COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team went 3-1 on the week, defeating Presbyterian on Tuesday night and winning 2-of-3 games against Kentucky on the weekend.

NOTES:
Talmadge LeCroy had eight hits in the week as the Gamecocks went 3-1. The senior had two hits in Friday’s game, then drove in a pair of runs in both Saturday and Sunday’s game against Kentucky. LeCroy leads the Gamecocks with a .292 average and has 30 RBI on the season.
Ethan Lizama had three home runs on the week, including a grand slam in Friday’s 10-9 win. On the week, Lizama had five hits and eight RBI.
Cooper Parks appeared in three of Carolina’s four games this week, striking out four in 5.1 innings. Parks earned the win in Friday night’s 10-9 win over Kentucky. On the season, Parks is 4-1 with a 3.04 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 26.2 innings pitched.
Tyler Bak had a pair of doubles and drove in two on the week. Bak hit .385 in the four games and on the season, has 15 extra-base hits and 26 RBI to go with a team-best nine stolen bases.
Carolina ends its homestand on Tuesday night against The Citadel. The Gamecocks then hit the road to face LSU for a three-game set in Baton Rouge.
