Senior Day Highlights Baseball's Series vs. Alabama
FOR STARTERS
- Carolina starts its final homestand of the season this weekend as the Gamecocks welcome Alabama to Founders Park for a three-game series.
- Friday’s game will start at 5:30 p.m., with Saturday’s game starting at 1 p.m. Sunday’s game will have a 1:30 p.m. first pitch.
- Friday and Saturday’s games will be televised on SEC Network with Lowell Galindo and Gregg Olson on the call.
- Sunday’s game will be streamed on SEC Network Plus.
- All three games also will be broadcast on the Gamecock Sports Network presented by Learfield with Derek Scott and Cade Crenshaw on the call.

SCOUTING ALABAMA
- The Crimson Tide are coming off a 6-1 loss to Troy on Tuesday night.
- Eric Hines had two hits to lead Alabama’s offense.
- Alabama’s last SEC series was a three-game sweep of Vanderbilt, which included a walk-off home run by John Lemm in the series opener.
- Brady Neal has a team best .346 batting average with seven home runs while Justin Lebron has 12 home runs and 36 stolen bases on the season.
- On the mound, Tyler Fay has a 7-3 record with 78 strikeouts in 71.1 innings pitched.
- Rob Vaughn is in his third season at Alabama. He has guided the Crimson Tide to regional appearances in his first two seasons.
SERIES VS. ALABAMA
- Carolina holds a 42-32 all-time series advantage on Alabama heading into Friday’s game.
- The two teams last played in 2024 with both teams winning a pair of games.

SENIOR DAY HIGHLIGHTS ALABAMA SERIES
- Carolina will honor five senior student athletes and seven senior support staff before Saturday’s game with Alabama.
- Seniors Talmadge LeCroy, Ethan Lizama, Jake Randolph, Logan Sutter and Luke Yuhasz will be honored on the field starting at 12:30 p.m.
- The five will be joined by support staffers Zach Manning, Zane Catoe, Ben Moseley, Mike White, Will Mann, Allison Maloney and Lauren Wise.
BULLPEN SHOWS UP BIG IN SERIES WIN
- Carolina’s bullpen had a big hand in the series win over Kentucky.
- Cooper Parks pitched 3.2 innings of relief on Friday, striking out three and allowing just one hit.
- Parker Marlatt earned his first save of the season on Friday, pitching a scoreless ninth.
- Zach Russell pitched both Friday and Saturday. Combined, he threw 2.1 innings with two hits and no runs allowed.
- Logan Prisco struck out a pair in 1.2 scoreless innings on Saturday.
