• Carolina plays its final home game of the 2026 season when the Gamecocks welcome Winthrop to Founders Park.
• First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday’s game will be streamed on SEC Network Plus.

• The Eagles are coming off being swept at High Point this past weekend.
• Grant McGuire had three hits in a 9-8, 10-inning loss to High Point on Friday.
• Cornelius Wouthers leads Winthrop with a .337 batting average.
• On the mound, Brayden Gilley is 7-4 with a 4.04 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 71.1 innings pitched.
• Mike McGuire is in his second season as head coach at Winthrop. McGuire has led the Eagles to back-to-back 30-win seasons.

SERIES VS. WINTHROP

• Carolina holds a 429-7 all-time series lead on Winthrop heading into Tuesday’s game.
• The Gamecocks won both meetings with the Eagles last season.
• Carolina won in Rock Hill, 5-3, on Feb. 18, 2025, as the Gamecocks plated a pair in the fifth and one more in the sixth for the two-run win.
• The Gamecocks then scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth to defeat Winthrop, 6-5, on May 13 in Columbia. as Beau Hollins drove in three runs in the win.
• Carolina is 20-4 all-time vs. Winthrop in Columbia.

BULLPEN SHOWS UP BIG IN SERIES WIN

• Carolina’s bullpen had a big hand in the series win over Kentucky.
• Cooper Parks pitched 3.2 innings of relief on Friday, striking out three and allowing just one hit.
• Parker Marlatt earned his first save of the season on Friday, pitching a scoreless ninth.
• Zach Russell pitched both Friday and Saturday. Combined, he threw 2.1 innings with two hits and no runs allowed.
• Logan Prisco struck out a pair in 1.2 scoreless innings on Saturday.

• Carolina ends the regular season in Nashville, Tenn., facing Vanderbilt in a three-game series May 14-16.
