Athletics Talks Updates on Williams-Brice Stadium Reimagination Project:

Suite Sales, Construction Timeline, and More

South Carolina Athletics announced today that suite sales for the Williams-Brice Stadium Reimagination Project are exceeding expectations during the initial phase of the campaign.

Donations and premium seating sales continue to outpace projections, while stadium renovations remain on budget and on schedule. Nearly 80 percent of the new suites included in the project have already been sold, leaving just 11 of the 54 total suites still available. The remaining inventory includes seven luxury suites, two Founders Suites and two loge suites. To date, more than $168 million has been raised in support of the project.

“The passion and commitment our Gamecock fans continue to show toward our program is incredible,” said Director of Athletics, Jeremiah Donati. “Many of the new suite holders in Williams-Brice are longtime Gamecock supporters and they are really excited about what’s ahead for Gamecock Football and the Williams-Brice Stadium Reimagination Project.”

“To date, phase one of our stadium renovation effort is on time and on budget, and we can’t wait to welcome our fans back this fall to the incredible new experiences that await them at Williams-Brice Stadium,” Donati added.

Selection of club seats will begin on June 1, with initial communication to Gamecock Club members scheduled to be distributed in the coming days.

All suite and club purchases are for the 2027 season following completion of the project’s second phase, which will take place between the conclusion of the 2026 season and the start of the 2027 season.

“This is an exciting moment for all Gamecock fans,” said Wayne Hiott, CEO of The Gamecock Club. “By the time the full effort of the Williams-Brice Stadium Reimagination Project is completed, every fan attending a Gamecock football game will experience the impact of these enhancements throughout the stadium.”

In addition to the stadium’s new premium offerings, the overall fan experience will be enhanced with wider concourses, additional concession and restroom locations and updates to “The Cockpit” (student section) designed to create an improved experience for current USC students.

More specifically, on the West Main Concourse, there will be an increase of 2.5 times as many toilets per person now than before for both men and women. There will also be 18 additional points of sale for grab and go concessions resulting in a fan’s ability to check out 2.5 times faster than before.

On the East Ground Concourse, there will be an increase of 7.5 times as many toilets per female than before and an increase of 1.24 times as many toilets per male than before. Grab and Go Concessions will see an increase of 2.5 times faster in a fan’s ability to go through concessions than before, with 21 points of sale.

Finally, Football-specific areas inside the stadium also will receive significant upgrades, including a new lobby and recruit lounge, locker room, equipment room, training room and other back-of-house improvements.

The Williams-Brice Stadium Reimagined project is centered around four key pillars:

  1. For All:

This project is designed for every Gamecock fan. Throughout the reimagination of Williams-Brice Stadium, the South Carolina Athletics and its partners are focused on creating an enhanced game-day experience that builds lasting memories for current and future generations while inspiring admiration from visiting fans.

  1. Legacy & Tradition:

This project celebrates the history and meaning of Williams-Brice Stadium and what it means to be a Gamecock, bridging the nostalgia and traditions of the past with excitement for the future.

  1. Home:

The project will create a welcoming place that brings fans together and strengthens South Carolinian camaraderie.

  1. Pride of the State:

More than just a football stadium, Williams-Brice Stadium will become a year-round venue that showcases the beauty, culture and spirit of South Carolina.

The Gamecocks open the 2026 season with three consecutive home games — Sept. 5 against Kent State Golden Flashes football, Sept. 12 against Towson Tigers football and the SEC opener on Sept. 19 against Mississippi State Bulldogs football.
