South Carolina Faces NC State in SEC/ACC Challenge

BRISTOL, Conn. – ESPN announced matchups for the 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge on Friday morning. South Carolina will head to Raleigh to face NC State on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Tip time and TV information will be made available at a later date.

It marks the first matchup between the two former ACC foes since the 2007-08 season on Nov. 23 at the Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla.

The Wolfpack lead the all-time series with the Gamecocks, 49-28.

Carolina is 2-1 all-time in its previous SEC/ACC Challenge matchups with wins at home against Notre Dame in 2023 and at Boston College in 2024.

The SEC has won the last two seasons with an overall mark of 30-16 in challenge games.
