Anderson Signs Transfer Nicole Koong

Rising junior played two seasons at Cal Poly where she was a two-time, All-Big West honoree
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Head coach Kalen Anderson announced the addition of transfer Nicole Koong (Cal Poly) to her program on Wednesday as she signed a financial aid agreement to join the Gamecocks for the 2026-27 season.

• Played two seasons at Cal Poly where she was a two-time All-Big West honoree
• Logged a 73.70 scoring average in 65 career rounds played (22 par or better) with six top-10 finishes
• As a sophomore in 2025-26, was named First Team All-Big West after leading the Mustangs with a 72.90 scoring average, 15 rounds of par or better, nine top-20 finishes and four top-10s
• Led the team with a T-18th finish at the 2026 NCAA Stanford Regional with a 54-hole total of 215 (+2)
• Finished T-5th at the 2026 Big West Championship, shooting 216 (E) ; helped Cal Poly to a six-shot win, the program’s fifth Big West title all-time
• As a freshman in 2024-25, earned Honorable Mention All-Big West honors with a scoring average of 74.50 ; had three top-20 finishes and two top-10s
