Gamecock Men Conclude Outdoor Season with Pair of All-Americans

EUGENE, Ore. (June 10, 2026) – South Carolina Men’s Track & Field concluded its season on Wednesday night during the semifinal day of the NCAA Outdoor Championship at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Devan Crumpton and Jaouad Khchina competed for the Gamecocks on Wednesday night in their respective events, each earning Second Team All-American honors. Crumpton placed 16th overall in the 400m, running 45.76 to secure his first outdoor All-American honor in his NCAA Outdoor Championship debut. Khchina, also making his NCAA Outdoor Championship debut, finished 14th overall in the 1500m after crossing the line in 3:39.23 for his first outdoor All-American nod of his collegiate career.

South Carolina’s women’s team will get a crack at the semifinal round tomorrow beginning with the 4x100m relay at 8:05 p.m. (ET). The Gamecocks will be competing in nine events tomorrow with seven semifinal rounds on the docket. Jathiyah Muhammad and Tristen Harris will take part in the finals in their respective events, the women’s pole vault (8:35 p.m. ET) and the women’s long jump (9:40 p.m. ET).
