Harris Named Consensus All-American

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Redshirt senior Frankie Harris was tabbed a consensus All-American on Wednesday as he earned PING Second Team All-America honors and Golfweek Second Team All-America distinction.

It’s the second and third All-American honors for Harris as he was a Golfweek Honorable Mention All-American last season. A total of 28 different players have earned 47 All-American honors for the Gamecocks all-time.

Earlier this season, Harris also earned PING All-Southeast Region honors for the second time in his career and he was named First Team All-SEC. He became the 23^rd player in program history to earn First Team All-SEC honors and the first since former All-American Ryan Hall in 2021.

The Boca Raton, Fla. native put together one of the finest individual seasons in program history in his final campaign in Garnet and Black this year. He started all 11 tournaments, logging a scoring average of 69.91 with nine top-20 finishes, five top-10s and three wins. His scoring average was the lowest in program history for a single season, surpassing Hall (69.97 in 2020-21). The duo are the only players in school history with a sub-70 scoring average for a single season.

Harris etched his name in the record books as the program’s all-time wins leader with his sixth career victory in March at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. He finishes his three-year Gamecock career with a scoring average of 70.37 in 32 events played, the lowest in program history just in front of Hall (70.66 from 2018-22). His 13 top-five finishes are fourth-most all-time at Carolina and his 15 top-10s are 10^th most in program history.

He earned conditional Korn Ferry Tour status finishing No. 9 in the final ranking for the PGA TOUR University Class of 2026 and will make his pro debut this week alongside former Gamecock All-American Matt NeSmith at the OccuNet Classic in Amarillo, Texas.
