Gamecocks Place 10 Student-Athletes on CSC Academic All-District Team
COLUMBIA, S.C. (June 23, 2026) – South Carolina Track & Field placed 10 student-athletes on the 2026 Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). The student-athletes representing the Gamecocks are: Ricky Circelli, Cate Conklin, Edouard Lecrivain, Eline Mast, Logan Montgomery, Ellis Neighbors, Hannah Togami, Emma Torbert, David Warmington and Abigail White.
The Academic All-District teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
To qualify for the CSC All-District team for track & field/cross country, members must meet the following classroom criteria: At least a sophomore athletically and academically and owns at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. The criteria athletically are as follows: for cross country members must finish inside the Top 50 at the NCAA regional competition and for track & field the individuals must rank inside the Top 50 regional rankings in either the indoor or outdoor season.
Circelli is a rising junior that is majoring in finance and holds a perfect 4.0 GPA. Circelli ran the 800m in both the indoor and outdoor season, ranking 16th in the region during the indoor campaign. The Florida native competed in a combined 10 events throughout the season, including finishing 18th overall at the SEC Indoor Championship in the 800m.
Conklin completed her sophomore season for the Gamecocks with a 4.0 GPA, majoring in exercise science. The Kentucky native placed 43rd overall at the Southeast Regional during the cross country season, running 20:32.2. Conklin primarily competed during the cross country campaign, appearing in six meets including the NCAA Championship where she ran 20:23.3. Conklin assisted the Gamecocks in the program’s first ever team appearance in the NCAA Championship.
Lecrivain joined the Gamecocks this season as a graduate transfer, earning his masters in business analytics. The France native excelled in the 800m during his time donning the Garnet & Black. During the indoor season, he ranked fifth in the region in the 800m as well as 31st nationally. The outdoor campaign saw him ranked 48th in the East Region for the 800m. He appeared in 12 combined meets this season and helped guide the Gamecocks to an SEC Indoor title in the men’s DMR after running the second fastest time in program history (9:30.08). The title run in the DMR landed Lecrivain on the First Team All-SEC squad. He concluded his outdoor season at the NCAA East Regional where he finished 20th in the 800m, clocking 1:47.72.
Mast joined the Gamecocks for her senior season, competing in all three seasons. The biological sciences major qualified for the CSC All-District team after ranking 22nd regionally in the indoor mile (4:41.20) as well as 28th for the indoor 800m (2:09.13). During the indoor season, she earned First Team All-American honors as the leadoff leg for the women’s DMR squad that finished runner-up at the NCAA Indoor Championship, running 10:49.69. That same DMR squad won the SEC Indoor Championship for the first time in school history, running a program record mark of 10:45.64 to land on the First Team All-SEC squad.
Montgomery competed during the indoor season only, ranking 13th nationally in the men’s shot put and second regionally with a mark of 19.64m (64-5.25). The Florida transfer is a sports media major with a 4.0 GPA following the conclusion of his senior year in the classroom. This indoor season, Montgomery earned his first collegiate All-American nod as he landed on the Second Team All-American squad following his 12th-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championship. The veteran thrower also scored at the SEC Indoor Championship, finishing eighth overall.
Neighbors is an exercise science major and carries a perfect 4.0 GPA heading into his junior campaign. The South Carolina native competed in the javelin during the outdoor season, where he ranked 22nd in the East Region and 44th overall in the NCAA with a distance of 68.42m (224-6). Neighbors competed in eight meets during the outdoor campaign, including the NCAA East Regional where he placed 17th overall as well as the SEC Outdoor Championship where he finished ninth in the field.
Togami completed her junior season, majoring in visual communications. The veteran pole vaulter ranked 21st in the region during the indoor season with a height of 4.05m (13-3.5) and 49th regionally during the outdoor campaign with a mark of 4.06m (13-3.75). The South Carolina native was only able to compete in a combined five events this season, battling through injuries. Her junior campaign was highlighted by a 14th place finish at the SEC Outdoor Championship.
Torbert is a biological sciences major coming off her junior year, holding a 4.0 GPA. The Orlando, Fla. native competed in all three seasons this year, running cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. Torbert qualified for the CSC Academic All-District team after ranking 38th in the region for the indoor 5K (16:30.60) and 48th for the indoor 3K (9:31.79). This season, Torbert appeared in 14 meets between all three seasons, including all three SEC Championships. The veteran distance runner placed 14th overall at the SEC Outdoor Championship in the 10K, running 34:57.98.
Warmington just completed his senior season for South Carolina, majoring in information science. The veteran hurdler ranked seventh in the region in the indoor 60-meter hurdles, while ranking 24th in the region in the outdoor 110-meter hurdles. Warmington appeared in 16 combined meets during the season, including a pair of SEC Championship appearances as well as the NCAA East Regional during the outdoor season where he placed 20th in the 110mH.
White is a rising junior majoring in nursing, competing in cross country as well as both indoor and outdoor track. The Chapin, S.C. native is coming off a season in which she placed 38th at the Southeast Region during the cross country season, clocking a 6K time of 20:27.9. She competed in 18 overall meets between the three seasons, appearing in all three SEC Championships. She placed 11th at the SEC Outdoor Championship in the 1500m, running the fourth fastest time in school history with a mark of 4:17.78. She also ran the sixth fastest indoor mile (4:42.88) and 3K (9:19.64) in school history at the SEC Indoor Championship.
