Women's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule
COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina Women’s Soccer head coach Shelley Smith has announced the 2026 season schedule, kicking off the year with a home match against Oregon State.
Smith and associate head coach Jamie Smith return for their 26th season, with the Gamecocks having lead national attendance for the past four consecutive seasons. South Carolina will host nine matches at home, including the Palmetto Series against Clemson.
Before the first official match of the season in Stone Stadium, the Gamecocks will take a trip up north to face UNC for an exhibition on Wednesday, Aug. 5. The home opener to follow on Aug. 12 against the Beavers of Oregon State will mark the first meeting between the two teams in program history.
South Carolina will then head to Wake Forest on Sunday, Aug. 16 before returning home for two matches to take on Clemson (Aug. 20) and Furman (Aug. 23). The Gamecocks will then head west, facing Wyoming (Aug. 27) and Colorado State (Aug. 30) for the first time ever.
Once back home, the Gamecocks will take on the College of Charleston (Sept. 6), and a matchup with Florida (Sept. 10) will officially open up SEC play for the 2026 campaign. After taking on the Gators, the Gamecocks will hit the road for LSU (Sept. 18), followed by two more matches at home against Kentucky (Sept. 24) and Missouri (Sept. 27).
South Carolina will kick the month of October off on the road, facing Mississippi State on Oct. 2. The Gamecocks will then have a week to reset before hosting Tennessee in Stone Stadium on Oct. 9. The squad will then head to Texas for two matchups, first against Texas A&M (Oct. 15) followed by the Longhorns of Texas on Oct. 18.
The final regular season game at home will see the Gamecocks facing off against Georgia (Oct. 23), before South Carolina rounds out the season on the road at Vanderbilt (Nov. 1).
The SEC Championships will once again be held Nov. 8-15 in Pensacola, FL.
