Gamecocks Reveal Acrisure Series Opponents

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Aug. 6, 2026) – South Carolina Men’s Basketball has announced a pair of contests against Southern California and Arizona State in the 2026 Acrisure Series during Thanksgiving week in Palm Springs, Calif. The Gamecocks will first take on Southern California on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 4:30 p.m. (ET) before battling Arizona State on Thanksgiving Day Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. (ET).

This year’s Acrisure Series brings together 26 Division I programs for 26 games over six days at Acrisure Arena from Nov. 21-26. Tickets for the 2026 Acrisure Series will go on sale this Saturday, Aug. 8 at 1 p.m. (ET) through Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for the 2026 Acrisure Series Thanksgiving Event start at $25 plus fees.

The Gamecocks and Trojans will meet for the fifth time in program history with the two teams deadlocked at two wins apiece. South Carolina won the first two matchups in the series, including the first-ever meeting on Dec. 22, 1977 by the final score of 65-58 in Columbia, S.C. The last meeting fell on Nov. 26, 2011 on neutral grounds with the Trojans squeaking past South Carolina following a 63-60 win.

South Carolina and Arizona State have played just once in program history with the Sun Devils narrowly escaping with an 84-79 win in 1982 in Tempe, Ariz.

Both games are scheduled to appear on CBS Sports Network.

These are the third and fourth non-conference games that have been announced for the Gamecocks this season. South Carolina has also announced its road game at N.C. State (Dec. 1) as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge as well as the showdown against Maryland on Dec. 19 in the Battle in Baltimore at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Md.
