COLUMBIA, S.C. – There is a lot that’s new at Williams-Brice Stadium for the 2026 Gamecock football season.

Phase 1 of the Williams-Brice Reimagined Project is near completion for the 2026 season. While some construction will be ongoing throughout the season to prepare for Phase 2, Phase 1 delivers significant enhancements designed to improve every Gamecock fan’s game day experience. This phase of the renovation focuses on reducing wait times, improving fan convenience, and allowing supporters to spend more time in their seats enjoying the action.

On the West Main Concourse, fans will experience dramatic improvements, including:

• 5 times more restroom fixtures per person for both men and women.
• 21 new Grab-and-Go concession points of sale, allowing fans to check out approximately 2.5 times faster than before.

The East Ground Concourse will also feature substantial upgrades:

• 5 times more restroom fixtures per female fan.
• 24 percent more restroom fixtures for male fans.
• 18 Grab-and-Go concession points of sale, increasing concession throughput by approximately 2.5 times.

Additional improvements throughout the stadium include expanded concourse space, new concessions marketplaces and brew thrus on the West Main and East Ground concourses, enhanced wayfinding signage, and upgrades to The Cockpit, which include widening the concourse, new concessions offerings and a built out for the completion of the first of its kind student club during Phase 2.

Phase 2 of the Williams-Brice Stadium Reimagination Project will begin following the conclusion of the 2026 football season. The next phase will include new and renovated premium seating areas, including suites and club spaces, along with new escalators, elevators, and videoboards. The excitement surrounding Gamecock football continues to grow. For the second straight year, season tickets for the 2026 campaign are officially sold out. This is only the second time in Gamecock history that Carolina has sold out of their season ticket allotment at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks are entering the 2026 season with a program record sixteen consecutive home sellouts, dating back to the 2023 season.

With the upgrades to the stadium, fans must utilize the specific entrance listed on their digital ticket. This will reduce congestion at the gates, while making it easier for fans to get to their seats.
