Get Ready for Game Days at Williams-Brice Stadium: Logistics

Release two of our Get Ready for Game Days at Williams-Brice Series focuses on logistics from parking to gate entrance to moving around once in the stadium.

There’s a lot that is new at Williams-Brice Stadium for the 2026 Gamecock football season.  This release will focus on all logistics from parking to gate entrance to moving around once in the stadium.

Parking/Traffic Flow

A limited number of parking spaces in Athletics Department controlled lots are available on a single-game basis. Pre-purchasing single game parking is strongly recommended.

There will also be changes to traffic flow on George Rogers Blvd. to allow for increased pedestrian foot traffic.

  • The 3 closest lanes to Williams-Brice Stadium on George Rogers Blvd. will be closed from Key Rd. to Bluff Rd.
  • Traffic on George Rogers Blvd. will only be open for westbound travel from Key Rd. to Bluff Rd. Vehicles will not be able to turn on to George Rogers Blvd. from Bluff Rd. to travel eastbound.

Updated traffic flow maps for all roads around Williams-Brice Stadium will be available closer to the Sept. 5 home opening game.

In addition to changes in traffic flow, fans with parking spaces in LMC Fair Park should be aware of new ingress and egress patterns

  • Gates 6, 7 & 10 will be the ingress gates for vehicle traffic into LMC Fair Park.
  • Gates 8 & 9 into LMC Fair Park will be open for pedestrian foot traffic only for ingress
  • Gate 9 will transition to a vehicle egress for post-game traffic
  • Previous pedestrian foot traffic gates will only be opened post-game to a vehicle egress gate.

Gamecock Athletics and Learfield/Gamecock Sports Properties are excited to announce that PMC – Parking Management Company is the new official offsite parking partner of the Gamecocks. Closer to the season, we will release additional information about how fans can prebook offsite parking for game days.

Stadium Entry

Due to construction and some restricted movement within the stadium, fans must enter Williams-Brice Stadium through the gates designated on their digital ticket. Fans can also use our gate identifier tool to determine what gates they may enter.

Movement Within the Stadium

Due to construction and anticipated pinch points within the stadium and to prioritize safe and timely entrance into the stadium, there will be movement restrictions within the ground level concourse until kickoff or later, pending gate traffic. Checkpoints will be set up in the southwest corner just beyond the new southwest tower stairs and along the north side of the stadium surrounding the lower-level student section and club. Fans will be unable to pass through these checkpoints until gate traffic has cleared, at which time fans will be permitted to travel around the stadium on the ground level concourse as needed.

To make room for the construction of the southwest tower, the southwest ramp no longer exists. Fans will be able to use the northwest ramp to access all west side seating sections, the ground level to west main switchbacks to access Sections 1-9 and several new ground to upper-level staircases that have been constructed to help fans navigate to their seats without waiting for an elevator. Fans must show their applicable tickets or provided wristbands to access the premium levels on the west side via the stairwells.

Pedestrian Movement Around Williams-Brice Stadium

With the footprint of the new student club and its proximity to George Rogers Blvd., the three lanes of George Rogers Blvd. closest to Williams-Brice Stadium will be closed to vehicle traffic. The lane closest to the stadium will be open exclusively for pedestrian foot traffic to assist in their movement toward the correct side of the stadium for entry.

 

What to Expect With Ongoing Construction

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is the Reimagined Williams-Brice Stadium. Construction will be ongoing during the season to lay the groundwork for the Phase 2 renovations that will begin following the conclusion of the 2026 season. Fans should expect to see temporary fencing in place throughout the stadium as construction continues. New areas including the southwest tower and the new student club will have their shells in place but will not be completed until the 2027 season.

As a reminder, Gamecock Athletic events have transitioned to a fully digital ticketing model for the upcoming year. Printed tickets will no longer be available, so fans are encouraged to plan and become familiar with how to access and manage their tickets through the Gamecocks App. A Digital Ticketing Guide has been created with a step-by-step process on how to manage your tickets digitally.
