Women's Soccer to Host Furman

COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina women’s soccer (2-1-0) will look to keep the good times rolling, rounding out the weekend with a game at home in Stone Stadium, taking on Furman (1-1-0) on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on SECN+.

LAST TIME OUT 

• South Carolina picked up the first Palmetto Series point of the year for the Gamecocks after taking down rival No. 24 Clemson 1-0 for the first time since 2018. The Gamecocks and Tigers had drawn in the last four consecutive meetings.
• Senior midfielder Cuyler Zulauf got the Gamecocks on the board with just under six minutes remaining, sending a shot into the right corner of the net off of a beautiful pass from fellow senior Sydney Middaugh. It was Zulauf’s first goal of the season and 10th of her career.
• Fifth-year keeper Christina Tsaousis was pivotal in front of the net, racking up a season-high tying four saves to give South Carolina their second clean sheet of the season.

SCOUTING THE PALADINS

• Furman picked up its first win of the 2026 campaign on Tuesday by rolling to a 3-0 triumph over North Greenville in the home opener.
• Former Gamecock Bri Pinasco was one of three to register a goal for the Paladins.
• The Gamecocks hold a 16-2-1 lead in the all-time series against Furman, including a 5-1 victory in the most recent meeting in 2024 at home in Columbia

Parking for fans will be available in the grass lot behind the Athletics Village Garage, around the stadium at metered spots (subject to fees), and overflow will be located in the Roost parking lot. Marion Street (located in front of Stone Stadium) will shut down to traffic beginning at 4:30 p.m. Doors will open 60 minutes before kickoff.
