Players Era Announces Game Details

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball learned the details of its participation in the 2026 Players Era Women’s Basketball Showcase today. The two-day event at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandala Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas features six elite teams with the Gamecocks playing the middle game of each day’s doubleheader.

South Carolina will face UCLA on Sat., Dec. 19, at 8:30 p.m. ET before taking on Notre Dame on Sun., Dec. 20, at 7:30 p.m. ET. Both games will air on ESPN.

Tickets go on sale on Thu., Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. ET. Gamecock fans can purchase tickets from the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office at: https://am.ticketmaster.com/gamecocks/buy/wb27vegas. The team’s allotment of 100-level tickets cost $100 per session, and fans can purchase tickets for one or both days. All tickets are digital and will be transferred to the purchaser 48-72 hours before the first game on Saturday.

“We are excited to be back for the second year of the Players Era Women’s Championship with an expanded field,” South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley said. “From elite matchups on the court to great accommodations and opportunities for our team and our fans off it, it will be great to get back to las Vegas and a full weekend highlighting women’s basketball.”

Saturday’s other two games feature Duke vs. Texas (6 p.m. ET) and Notre Dame vs. Southern Cal (11 p.m. ET). Sunday’s games include Texas vs. UCLA (5 p.m. ET) and Southern Cal vs Duke (10 p.m. ET).
