2027 SEC Softball Schedule Announced

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the conference schedule for the 2027 softball season Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 9).

Conference play is slated to begin on March 12 and continue through May 8. The regular-season conference schedule includes eight three-game series for each team for a total of 24 games. The schedule is subject to change, including the move of Easter Sunday and some conference series to conclude on Mondays.

Third-year head coach Ashley Chastain Woodard and the Gamecocks open SEC play at Carolina Softball Stadium when they host Arkansas March 12-14.

After a bye weekend, Carolina travels to Georgia March 26-28. They return home to take on Mississippi State (April 2-4) before traveling to Kentucky (April 9-11).

South Carolina hosts Auburn (April 16-18) and then hits the road again to take on Ole Miss April 23-25.

The final home series will see the Gamecocks take on Oklahoma April 30-May 2. The SEC and regular-season series finale takes place at Texas A&M May 6-8 in a Thursday-Saturday series.

The 2027 SEC Softball Tournament will take place on May 11-15 at Toyota Field in Madison, Ala.

The non-conference portion of the schedule as well as game times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
