FRISCO, Texas (Sept. 13, 2026) – South Carolina women’s golf is back in action tomorrow, competing in the 2026 Jackson T. Stephens Cup in Frisco, Texas. This year’s Stephens Cup will be played at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco and will be a three-day event, running from Sept. 14-16. This will be the sixth consecutive year that the Gamecocks have participated in the coveted field since the inception of the tournament in 2021.
Gamecocks in the Field
South Carolina will send familiar faces to Frisco for the second tournament of the season. The Gamecocks will utilize the same lineup used for the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, with just a few tweaks in the order.
Eila Galitsky will lead the way for South Carolina, fresh off her 10th career top-10 finish as she placed T-8th at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate on Sept. 9. The Thailand native used a bogey-free 67 (-5) in the final round to catapult up the leaderboard and into the top-10 as she led South Carolina to a fifth-place finish.
Australia freshman, Amelia Harris, clings to the No. 2 spot in the lineup following her first collegiate event in which she posted a tournament score of 1-over-par (217) to place T-15th. Harris is followed by veteran golfer Alicia Olsson who finished the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in a tie for 22nd overall with a score of 218 (+2) after leading the field with 40 pars.
Molly McLean and Vairana Heck round out the lineup, respectively. McLean carded a 220 (+4) in the season-opening tournament, while Heck opened the year with an 8-over-par (224) performance.
