No. 17 Women's Soccer Hosts Wildcats

COLUMBIA, SC – No. 17 South Carolina women’s soccer (8-1-0, 2-0-0) will continue SEC play on Thursday, facing the Kentucky Wildcats (6-3-0, 2-0-0) in Stone Stadium at 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on SEC Network.

LAST TIME OUT

• South Carolina tallied another SEC win, defeating LSU 3-1 and clinching their seventh consecutive win. It is the longest active win streak in the conference so far.
• The Gamecocks had an offensive showing, finishing with 16 shots to LSU’s 7.
• Sophomore Ava Tutas scored two PK’s and senior Reese Slater scored on a free kick. Tutas has not missed a PK this season, and Slater’s goal marked her third goal in as many games and the second game-winner in a row.
• Tutas now leads the team with four goals and 10 points.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS

• Thursday’s matchup with Kentucky will be the 32nd in the series’ history
• The Gamecocks lead the series record of 15-14-2
• The last time the teams met was in Lexington in 2025 (Oct. 16), when the Wildcats defeated the Gamecocks 3-2. It was Kentucky’s first win in the series since the 2014 season
• Kentucky stays on the road coming off of a 2-1 win at Missouri

Parking for fans will be available in the grass lot behind the Athletics Village Garage, around the stadium at metered spots (subject to fees), and overflow will be located in the Roost parking lot. Doors will open 60 minutes before kickoff.
