2013 All-American (800 freestyle relay)

2012-13 – Gamecocks[apos] top sprinter…Swam in all regular-season meets, at the SEC Championships and at the NCAA Championships…Earned All-America honors by helping the 800 freestyle relay team to a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Championships…Posted a leadoff split of 20.23 in the 200 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships, which is the eighth fastest mark in school history…Won four individual races and finished runner-up on four occasions…Scored points at the SEC Championships in the 100 freestyle with a 16th-place finish in 44.41…Swam a B cut of 44.09 in the preliminary, which is the fourth fastest time in school history…Also scored points in the 100 butterfly, finishing 20th with a B cut of 47.85, the sixth fastest time in school history…Turned in the top 50 freestyle (20.23) and top 100 butterfly (47.85) times on the team…Helped the Gamecocks set school records in the 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 freestyle and 800 freestyle relays at the SEC Championships…Part of four victories on the season.

2011-12 – Did not compete.

2010-11 – One of the team[apos]s top sprinters and relay contributors…Top 50 free (20.66), 100 free (45.29) and 200 free (1:38.53) times came at SEC Championships…Swam third leg on 800 freestyle relay team that set the school record (6:27.30) at SEC Championships… Anchored the 200 freestyle relay team to an NCAA `B[apos] cut time (1:20.96) as well as the 400 freestyle relay team (2:58.02)…Anchor leg of the top 400 medley relay team at SEC Championships (3:15.12)…Part of two victorious relay squads vs. Kentucky/Charleston…Also helped in relay wins vs. East Carolina and UNC Wilmington…Missed Nike Cup due to family emergency.

2009-10 – Made an impact as a freshman in the freestyle and IM events… Competed in three individual events and three relays at SEC Championships… Helped 800 FR (6:34.03) and 400 FR (3:00.44) to NCAA `B[apos] cut times… Had the second-best times on the team in the 100 free (45.46) and 200 free (1:39.69), and the third-best 200 IM (1:51.31); all times came at SEC Championships… Won 100 free vs. UNC Wilmington.

PRE-COLLEGE – Graduated from Christian Brothers Academy…Coach was Vito Chiavarollati…Team captain…Named first-team All-Shore all four years…Team MVP and high points scorer all four years…Won two Monmouth city championships and one Shore Conference title in the 200 IM…Holds school, city or conference records in 200 IM, 200 MR and 200 free…Was conference champion in 100 back…Club team is Red Bank YMCA…21-time All-American…Was a high school honor student.
