Carolyn graduated from The Laurel School where she earned seven varsity letters, four in cross country and three in lacrosse. Carolyn was captain of her high school[apos]s cross country team for three years. She was a member of league and district championship teams in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She was a member of her high school team[apos]s regional runner-up team in 2007, 2008, and 2010. Carolyn was awarded MVP for her high school team all four years.
Outside of school, Carolyn enjoys doing community service work. She has traveled to Honduras the past two summers to help teach English to the boys of the Flor Azul orphanage.
