2008: Indoors, competed in the heptathlon where he finished seventh at the SEC Championships with 4,845 points … set a personal best 4,990 points in a second place finish at the On Track Open … won the shot put and long jump during the heptathlon competition at the On Track Open … top indoor marks of 7.30 in the 60m dash, 8.53 in the 60mH, 46-6 ¾ in the shot put, 6-3 ¼ in the high jump and 22-7 in the long jump … outdoors, won the decathlon at the Shamrock Invitational with 6,609 points … placed ninth at the SEC Outdoor Championships with 6,620 points … top outdoor marks of 11.54 in the 100m, 6-2 ¾ in the high jump, 23-3 ¼ in the long jump and 46-1 ½ in the shot put.
2007: Indoors, competed in the heptathlon as well as seeing action in the shot put and long jump … scored a personal-best 4,810 in the heptathlon at the SEC Indoor Championships, placing fifth overall … recorded an 8.77 in the 60mH, a 7.33 showing in the 60m dash, a 6-2 clearance in the high jump, a 12-11 1/2 showing in the pole vault, a long jump of 21-4 1/4 and a throw of 48-5 1/2 in the shot put while at the SECs … Competed in over 10 different events for the Gamecocks during the outdoor season … recorded a season-best time of 50.03 to finish 13th in the 400m at the Jim Click Shootout … placed fourth in the 110m hurdles at the Weems Baskin Relays at 15.31 … cleared 12-5 1/2 at Weems Baskin to finish third in the pole vault … earned second place at the Spec Towns National Invite with a long jump of 21-6 3/4 … scored and placed sixth in the decathlon with a personal-best score of 6.440 at the SEC Outdoor Championships.
2006: Competed in the heptathlon during the indoor season … at the SEC Indoor Championships, scored 4,773 points in the heptathlon to finish seventh … recorded a 6.84 in the 60mH, a 20-7 1/4 in the long jump, a 6-0 1/4 in the high jump, a 3:09.16 in the 1,000m and an 11-10 3/4 in the pole vault while at SECs … outdoors, competed in a slew of events … ran 15.78 for a 110mH season-opener at the Florida Relays, and contested the short hurdles three more times during the outdoor season … ran the 400 at the Murray Neely Invitational, posting a 53.95 race time … competed in field events as well … recorded a 12-7 1/2 in the pole vault, 42-6 1/4 in the shot put, 114-0 in the discus and 136-11 in the javelin … in his specialty, the decathlon, scored 6,385 points at the Sea Ray Relays for an eighth-place finish … followed with a 5,515-point finish at the SEC Outdoor Championships for ninth place.
