2018 (SENIOR)

• Team captain for the second consecutive season, started all 17 matches in the midfield going the distance eight times… had his second career assist on Tucker Monheimer’s game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory against Lipscomb (8/27)… scored the second goal of his career on a PK in the first half of the team’s 5-0 win vs. Wofford (9/19)… marked the first career game-winning goal of his career… earned a spot on the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll for the third-straight year.

2017 (JUNIOR)

• Voted team captain by his teammates, started all 17 of the team’s matches as a defender and holding midfielder… played 90 minutes plus in 12 games… logged his only points of the season with a late goal in Carolina’s 1-1 draw at Charlotte (10/20)… the set piece score marked the first goal of his career… preseason All-C-USA selection… one of three student-athletes in NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer to be recognized as an All-American Athlete of the Year by the National Strength and Conditioning Association… earned spots on the SEC Academic Honor Roll and the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2016 (SOPHOMORE)

• Played in 17 games, making 16 starts… earned Third Team All-Conference USA honors… key cog on the backline and helped team to five shutouts… tallied three shots and one shot on goal… played all 90 minutes plus in every match he appeared in except for the Second Round NCAA Tournament game vs. No. 3 Clemson (11/20)… named to the C-USA Commiisioner’s Honor Roll and the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2015 (FRESHMAN)

• Appeared in 19 matches, with most of his 16 starts coming at defender … Gained placement on the Conference USA All-Freshman Team … Posted one assist, coming against FIU (10/27) … Drew his first start in the tie against UNC Greensboro (9/8), playing 100 minutes … Went the distance in 10 other matches, including both NCAA Tournament affairs … Earned spots on the Conference USA Commissioner’s and Southeastern Conference First-Year Academic Honor Rolls.

PRE-COLLEGE

• Played one year for coach Tony Cianciola at Northview High … Named the 6A Freshman of the Year and to the 6A all-state team … Made the honor roll in 2011-12 … Played with the Georgia United club group … Two-time team captain.

PERSONAL

• Son of Nils and Kathryn Ericson … Has two brothers, Christian and Warren … Chose South Carolina over Clemson and Memphis … graduated in December 2018 with a degeree in Finance.
