Dr. Timothy Malone

Dr. Timothy Malone is a psychiatrist with specialties in child and adolescent psychiatry, general adult psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and addiction medicine. He also serves as a clinical professor for the USC School of Medicine in Department of Neuropsychiatry and has worked with student-athletes in every facet of mental health and behavioral issues for the last two decades.

Dr. Malone is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry for University of South Carolina School of Medicine Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He has been the Director of Wellness with the University of South Carolina since 2002. Dr. Malone is board certified in General Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and American Society of Addiction Medicine. He treats pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Dr. Malone is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his residency for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute/University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. He has more than two decades of experience as an inpatient and outpatient psychiatrist. He has served as Chief of Psychiatry for Behavioral Care at Palmetto Health.
